So, I sketched this out a little while ago, and thought I'd chuck some colour at it and stick it on DA. :shrug:

It's based on a very very old sketch I did many years ago, for no real reason, other than to try something different. I quite liked the perspective of this sort of over-inflating mass as it ballooned out of control and began to tower over everything. The characters in the foreground and the tables and chairs are a later addition to the idea, to give not only a scale, but suggest the original size of the poor character who is gaining/inflating. I'm not sure if this counts as weight gain, inflation, or stuffing, but I suppose it is a combination of all three?!

The location is an old, perhaps European market square; typical of the poor location stereotyping that many films use. Surrounded by old, quaint Cafés, the square itself is littered with tables, chairs and a gay selection of parasols. Quite what has happened here, I'm not too sure. Perhaps some sort of bet over the quantity of food one is able to consume? Either way, the main character is either winning, or losing! ;)

The shape and scale of this is just magical. Really love this picture and it all depends on whats going throught the hose will decide what this is defined as :) hmmm...
